DreamQuest is an award-winning games developer and publisher based in Lafayette, Colorado. We develop games for the PC, the iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Lead Programmer
Christopher Wiliamson founded DreamQuest Games in 2000 and has been leading mobile game development since 2004. His Masters in Software Engineering leads to delivering projects on-time and under-budget. Under Christopher’s direction, DreamQuest Games has shipped over 30 successful game titles on mobile game platforms, including IOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Symbian, including being awarded 2 US Patents and PocketPC Game of the Year in 2006 for Championship Spades. At Idol Minds, Christopher was Lead Programmer on Madagascar 2, a game which sold over a million units for Activision in 2008. Most recently, he has ported DreamQuest Games‘ catalog of 13 family-oriented card and board games to iOS and Android, including Championship Hearts, which was released in January 2012.
Art Director
James Haynes holds an AA in Computer Information Systems and a BA in Media Arts and Animation. His unique mix of technical and creative savvy make him excel as a technical artist. With his extensive pipeline optimization experience, James adeptly and efficiently leads the DreamQuest Games artistic vision and team of artists using Unity3D, Maya, and the Crysis engine. James has worked with Christopher for over 10 years on various projects, including our recently-released Championship Hearts game for iPad, iPhone and Android. James helped DreamQuest Games win PocketPC Magazine’s Game of the Year in 2006.
Community Manager
Eve Park has over 7 year’s game industry experience. She has contributed to over 36 published casual titles, under roles ranging from QA lead to artist to producer. Her projects included highly-ranked games for Starz, Showtime, HBO, Lifetime, National Geographic, Zaxby’s and the Denver Post. Her dedication and passion for games consistently delivers great games on time and on budget. She holds a BA from Smith College, MA and has done post-graduate work at NYU and the Art Institute.
Art Director
Steward Compton comes to us with 4 years as Art Director at SOE on the previous king of MMORPGs, Everquest II. Stuart will help us deliver a compelling 3D world with that AAA level of polish.
Graphics Programmer
Megan Fox comes to us after having spent several years as a Graphics Programmer at NetDevil and, later, LEGO Universe working on their 3D worlds. Megan will help make everything look all pretty and run fast on mobile devices.
